New Women's Wing
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, currently housed in an unprotected 1960s building that has been renovated and adapted over the years, suffers from a shortage of beds and an outdated design that does not effectively support our capabilities to deliver the best care.
The proposed 117,000 sq. foot (13,000 sq. meter) facility, to be built on the site of the existing building, will include a protected underground level and a three-storey above-ground medical center designed to centralize and improve the department's services.
