Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose & Throat), Head & Neck Surgery Department

The Otolaryngology (ENT), Head & Neck Surgery Department provides diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation to patients of all ages and performs the entire range of surgical procedures in the field using the most advanced and innovative techniques and tools available, some of which are unique in Israel.

The hospitalization unit, the operating rooms and the activity in the department cover a number of specialized units, which perform a wide range of innovative surgeries executed by teams with a high level of expertise and professionalism. The Ear, Nose and Throat clinic offers the services of specialists in the field and also collaborates with other departments and institutes in the medical center and with doctors in the community health clinics.

The Ear, Nose & Throat emergency room utilizes advanced equipment, including innovative imaging and radiology techniques, to examine, diagnose and treat patients. The department’s audiology and hearing institute provides behavioral and objective hearing evaluation to children and adults, pediatric auditory screening and VNG and VHint exams for identifying problems in the functioning of the balance system.

Evidence based medicine is at the foundation of the medical profession and essential to our ability to provide optimum, up to date treatment at all times. The department's physicians and students, as well as those from other departments and in collaboration with major medical centers in Israel and abroad perform a wide variety of research in our department’s research lab. 

 
In addition, the Scientific Council of the Israeli Medical Association recognizes the department as a provider of full residency and the department's highly expert team mentors medical students in their academic activities and research under the auspices of Azrieli Faculty of Medicine Bar Ilan University.
