Nephrology

Galilee Medical Center's Nephrology Department provides solutions for patients suffering from acute chronic kidney diseases, elevated blood pressure, electrolyte and acid based disturbances, anti-immune and genetic based kidney diseases. In addition, the department offers renal replacement therapy including hemodialysis, haemodialysis and monitoring of patients after kidney transplants.

The department includes hospital beds and provides consulting services to the entire hospital and outpatient clinics. The staff is comprised of an interdisciplinary team of senior physicians, interns, and nursing staff, including nurses who have undergone special training in nephrology, a social worker, dietician, bio-technicians and support staff.
