    Mr. Yezekiel Hai

    Born in 1960 Nahariya.

    Since 1987, Mr. Yehezkiel Hai has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Galilee Medical Center.

     

    Mr. Hai has two Bachelor's degrees, one in Economics and another in Business Administration, as well as a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA).

    His role is to assure that Galilee Medical Center works within its annual budget, as set by Israel's Ministry of Health. A balanced budget is his annual goal.

    Mr. Hai's ongoing contribution to the development and strengthening of Galilee Medical Center is apparent in his connections with projects and with clients such as HMOs.

    As CFO of Galilee Medical Center, Yehezkiel Hai manages the payroll department, revenue collection, suppliers and payments, accounting, budgeting and pricing, and periodic financial statements.
     
    The Finance Department operates under the provisions of the Accountant General, Ministry of Health accounting, and the Civil Service Code.

    Thanks to the procedures and work methods that Mr. Yehezkiel Hai has implemented, the Finance Department of Galilee Medical Center has become a model for the finance departments of other hospitals.

    Mr. Hai's vision is that, through correct management of finances, Galilee Medical Center will be the major medical center in Israel's northern region, and will be able to match the medical centers in central Israel in providing the population of the Galilee with the best medical services using advanced technology.

    In addition, Mr. Hai is Chair of the Forum of Government Hospital CFOs.
